Careers Worcestershire has a new and exciting role as a Careers and Employment Advisor based at our new Redditch Careers Hub and working in various community locations in Redditch. Supporting young people aged 16-24 into positive destinations to achieve their career aspirations. As a Careers and Employment advisor you will be part of a dynamic team using our young person‑centred approach that supports young people into employment, education or training.

Roles Available:

  • 35 hours per week, Maternity cover, Fixed Term until End July 2027
  • 28 hours per week (salary pro rata), Fixed Term until 31st March 2027

Responsibilities:

In delivering the role, you will empower young people (aged 16-24) through group and individual mentoring sessions.

Qualifications & Experience:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working directly with young people aged 16-24, being able to engage and relate well to this age group, including those who are vulnerable or in crisis. You will ideally have experience of delivering 1:1 or group mentoring sessions and knowledge of the fundamentals of mentoring and youth work, along with experience of designing and developing resources for young people.
