Salary G10: £43,693 up to £48,710 per annum. This is a fixed term position for 2 years. The Resources and Transformation Directorate is responsible for managing a variety of exciting large-scale programmes throughout Walsall and the Black Country. These include the Walsall and Bloxwich Towns funded programmes, Community Regeneration Partnership funds, UKSPF Shared Prosperity, Net Zero projects and Public Sector Decarbonisation Schemes which aim to support local economic growth.
An exciting opportunity to support the management of financial reporting and monitoring has presented itself within the Accountable Body team. We are looking for an experienced and motivated person, to join the team as a Programme Management Officer to help with the successful implementation and management of a number of exciting Walsall programmes and projects.
You should be experienced in the financial management of large programmes and projects, monitoring their performances, and be able to build and develop strong partnerships and networks with a wide range of stakeholders. If you can manage a demanding portfolio, are adaptable in changing circumstances and possess excellent financial, administration and organisational skills, we would welcome your application.
