Play Leader – Potters Club

Grade 4 Point 6 – £25,989 - £29,540 FTE (£13,065 - £14,850) pro rata to 22 hours and 38 weeks worked.

Term Time only. Permanent.

Role based on 5 days per week, working 22 hours on a split shift basis.

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday, 7:15am – 8:45am

Monday and Tuesday 2:40pm – 5:50pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 2:50pm – 5:50pm

Location

Castle Phoenix Trust, Potters Green School.

Responsibilities

  • Run the Before and After school club \"Potters Club\" for children aged 4-11.
  • Plan and deliver a creative learning and caring environment.
  • Supervise and support the Play Assistant who assists in running the club.
  • Handle administration and finance aspects under the direction of the School Business Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Motivated leader with experience engaging with children.
  • Strong organisational, communication and team‑working skills.
  • Experience in childcare or early years education preferred (not mandatory).
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and first‑aid.
