Grade: Level 5

Salary: £14,985 - £16,231 (pro rata for 21 hours per week)

Hours: 21 hours per week, part‑time, rota basis including weekends and evenings (4 pm–10 pm)

Vehicle: A vehicle would be required

This position is open to both internal and external applicants, with 5 posts available. We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and self‑motivated Personal Wellbeing Assistant to join our strong Community Enablement team.

About the role

A Personal Wellbeing Assistant provides all aspects of care in a person’s own home, including personal care, assistance with medication, and support with meals and drinks. The role requires a genuine interest and commitment to providing high‑quality care and support to adults, promoting their privacy, dignity, choice and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal care to clients in their homes.
  • Assist with administering medication.
  • Support clients with meals and drinks.
  • Promote privacy, dignity, choice and independence for all clients.

Qualifications & Personal Attributes

  • Experience in personal care for adults, or equivalent.
  • Strong caring, hardworking, honest and reliable qualities.
  • Ability to work on a rota, including weekends and evening shifts.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the city.
  • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
