An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Worcestershire Childrens Management and Information Team for a Management Information Analyst (MIA) Project Manager. This is a key role for a proactive and innovative individual with experience of using SQL and PowerBI to drive proactive automation, who can develop reports/dashboards and support data quality, statutory returns and Ofsted inspections across Childrens Services.

Purpose of the Role

The MIA Project Manager will lead on developing reports and dashboards to support performance and statutory returns for Childrens Services, managing a small team of analysts to drive performance data and improvement across the directorate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of performance and management information solutions to inform service design and transformation activity across the Council.
  • Lead analyst for a range of designated performance and management information projects (including Social care and Education data and statutory returns, KPI monitoring and reporting, Directorate management and performance information).
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and potential internal and external partners, providers and stakeholders throughout the public, private, voluntary and independent sectors for the purpose of facilitating collaborative working between organisations around common challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement in performance management and management information strategies and share learning and best practice.
