About the Role
We are looking for a Pensions Officer to join the Operations team within the West Midlands Pension Fund. This role requires experience in LGPS pension administration and a confident approach to managing a busy, process‑driven workload while delivering high‑quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculation and verification of LGPS pension benefits, applying LGPS regulations and pension legislation.
- Reviewing and authorising pension calculations and member records.
- Supporting workload prioritisation and meeting agreed deadlines, KPIs and team performance targets.
- Providing guidance to less experienced team members as required.
