We have an exciting opportunity for a Payments Team Leader to join our Accounts Payable Team. In this role, you will lead a small team responsible for administering and processing invoices and allowances across Solihull Council’s expenditure and identify efficient and innovative working practices.
Qualifications
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A–C / 9–4, including Maths and English
- Proven financial experience
- Part or full AAT qualification (or an equivalent finance qualification)
- Experience of managing, supervising or mentoring a team
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident IT skills, including experience using spreadsheets
- Strong communication and organisational skills
