Overview
Worcestershire County Council is seeking an Operational Support Officer on a fixed term contract until 31 March 2027. Location: Hybrid – Pershore / Wildwood and Remote. 35 hours per week. Salary: £24,200 – £24,584. Team: Business Systems and Management Information.
The Role
An exciting opportunity to join our system support team to support core systems (e.g. Capita One, Liquidlogic, Synergy, Children\’s Services Portal) in operation across Worcestershire Children\’s Services, Partners and Educational Settings.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the data exchange process with Educational Settings, to ensure regular collection of data to support Worcestershire Children\’s Services and undertake associated tasks linked to data exchange, e.g. data cleansing.
- Liaise with IT colleagues as appropriate to support data systems.
- Coordinate the data exchange process with schools, DfE and partners and provide help and advice on all aspects of data exchange.
- Management and administration of access rights; for example setting up accounts and password resets.
- Support upgrades to core systems; testing that processes work as expected.
- Gain expert knowledge on the operation of core Worcestershire Children\’s Services systems to provide help and advice to users.
- Manage and respond to queries on the support desk telephone and email.
- General system administration.
