Full Time Teacher – KS3/4 English
The Brades Lodge School offers this opportunity for a passionate, dynamic Teacher of English committed to making a genuine difference to the lives of challenging and vulnerable students.
Applications are welcome from ECTs, MS or UPS English teachers. Full support will be given to ensure a smooth transition to being part of an SEMH school team.
Salary: Main Pay Scale/UPS + SEN
Responsibilities
- Teach small groups; class size is approximately 8 students.
- Support students with a range of academic needs, from gifted and talented pupils who require stretch and challenge to those working below age expected levels who require additional support.
- Be part of an adaptable, friendly and motivated staff team.
- Access high‑quality, relevant and meaningful CPD.
- Be part of an established, supportive department.
- Deliver AQA qualifications, including Step Up to English, GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature.
- Work in a caring, nurturing environment where the well‑being of both pupils and staff is a priority.
