Q3 Academy Langley is looking to add to our fantastic team of dedicated, hard-working colleagues, who contribute to a wonderful culture of work. Now in 2024 we are one of the leading schools both locally, regionally and nationally.
Our curriculum model is focused primarily on the EBacc subjects, forming our Core. Additionally, we have a project-based, cross-curricular provision (Horizon, Innov8 and Cloud 9) that develops student learning both academically and holistically. Because of this innovative model, there is a minimal strain in terms of lesson planning, leaving time to hone learning and the art of teaching.
In May 2019, we received glowing feedback from our first Ofsted inspection. Our outward-facing approach has led us to be at the forefront of educational innovation – our focus on being ‘warm but strict’, and putting knowledge at the heart of our curriculum has led Schools Week to dub us ‘the Michaela of the Midlands’.

Key Duties And Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership of Maths across KS3–KS5 to secure outstanding curriculum, teaching, and outcomes.
- Line‑manage the Head of Department and associated middle leaders.
- Develop and implement a coherent whole‑school numeracy strategy.
- Champion Maths across the Academy through clubs, competitions, enrichment and stretch programmes.
- Contribute to wider school improvement planning and evaluation.
- Lead the professional development of staff in Maths and related pedagogy.
- Uphold the Academy’s aims and targets.
- Adhere to all Academy Health & Safety policies and complete risk assessments as required.
