Causeway Green Primary School is a 2‑form entry primary school with 440 children, aged 3 to 11. The school is a supportive, dedicated environment that encourages every pupil to achieve their best.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional and efficient reception and administrative service to parents, staff and pupils.
  • Act as the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors and telephone callers, ensuring courteous, professional and efficient service and that telephone messages reach the intended recipients promptly.
  • Welcome and sign in visitors using appropriate security and safeguarding procedures.
  • Perform typing, filing, printing, postage, photocopying and general office administration duties.
  • Maintain adequate supplies of stationery and printed materials for the school office.
  • Collect and distribute post and check deliveries and supplies.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly newsletters and update the school website.
  • Daily use of the Parent communication system (School Spider) and ICT programs including SIMS, FMS and Microsoft Office.
  • Duplicate and distribute information, organise and print certificates, rewards and awards.
  • Book school trips and transport.
  • Occasionally undertake lunchtime duty.
  • Support parents/open evenings and other school events as required.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties directed by the School Business Manager or Office Manager.
  • Maintain regular, consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, appearance and adherence to health and safety procedures.
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Photocopy teacher requirements.
  • Develop, upkeep and use reprographic equipment.
  • Laminating and management of the range of reprographic processes.
  • Reproduce documents to a high standard, including certificates and booklets.

Job Details
