Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and welfare of pupils during lunchtime, inside and outside the playground.
- Organise structured play opportunities to provide a positive lunchtime experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Trustworthy, reliable, punctual and enthusiastic about working with children.
- Prior experience with children is not essential.
- Successful completion of safeguarding pre‑employment checks (barred list, DBS and reference checks).
Legal and Safeguarding:
The role is subject to safeguarding pre‑employment checks as outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025. It is a criminal offence to apply for this post if barred from working with children.
Location and Working Hours:
Rounds Green Primary, Brades Road, Oldbury, B69 2DP. 7.5 hours per week, term time only.
Salary and Contract:
Band B Point 4 (salary £4,385.37 – £4,513.08). Permanent contract.
