- Grade 3 SCP 3-4 (£24,796 to £25,185) (Full Time Equivalent, Annual Rate) – pro rata
- Actual Salary: £18,801.21 to £19,528.06 per annum
- Hours
- 5 days, 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks (TTO + Training Days)
Responsibilities
- Provide targeted support for pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH challenges.
- Assist in implementing EHCPs and individual learning plans.
- Use a range of communication tools and de‑escalation strategies to support emotional regulation and engagement.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience working with children with SEND, especially in SEMH contexts.
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a calm, proactive, and supportive manner.
- Team player committed to ongoing professional development.
- Committed to inclusion and supportive of the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
