Senior leaders are looking to appoint a committed and skilled Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a friendly and inclusive team. The role requires experience working with children and supporting their learning needs, including individual support or small group sessions to facilitate learning and uphold the school’s ethos of inclusion. The LSA will support children with additional needs and help them access the curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Support individual children or small groups in accessing learning.
- Implement the school’s principles of inclusion and provide targeted support to children with SEND.
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to adapt learning materials and strategies.
- Monitor progress and report on student development to the broader staff team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High standard of spoken and written English, and a good standard of numeracy.
- Experience working with children and a passion for supporting their learning.
- Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check and entry clearance under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016).

Employment Details
- Hours: 34 hours per week, Term Time +1 Week.
- Grade: Grade B, SCP 4, £25,185 (Actual Salary, £20,650 - £20,917 p.a.).
- Location: Rood End Primary School, Rood End Road, Oldbury, B68 8SQ.
