Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is looking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team at Tividale Hall Primary School. Our vision is to make our school a centre of excellence and to create a learning culture that allows both staff and pupils to grow together and be the best that they can be.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of child development.
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Well-motivated and brings new ideas to help enrich the lives of young children.
- Ability to communicate with parents and stakeholders.
- Understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
- Experience delivering interventions.
- Experience supporting children with SEND.
- Ability to help supervise pupils at designated lunch or break times.
- Ability to help in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources, including making adjustments when required.
- Ability to contribute to discussions of individual targets in the process of reviews with the SENDCo.
