Position: Fixed term Maternity Cover contract until June 2027 with Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council.
Location: Coroners Court, Jack Judge House, Oldbury.
Role Overview: Support the operational activities of the Black Country Coroners Service covering Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administration support for Inquests, including preparation of documents and scheduling.
- Communicate with deceased families via telephone, face‑to‑face and email, providing compassionate assistance during a difficult time.
- Assist the Coroner with jury setup and the facilitation of all attendees on court days.
Qualifications:
- Excellent ICT and administration skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated, efficient and compassionate.
