Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, Marston Green Infant Academy is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school office. This is a temporary position to provide maternity leave cover, starting on 1 July 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring smooth and efficient administrative functions
- Provide essential support to the School Business Manager in operational tasks
- Maintain student records, admissions, and attendance using the school's MIS system – SIMS
- Manage site and administrative staff
- Maintain and update school policies and procedures
- Serve as Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with GDPR
- Support the trustees of the academy as a governance professional
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in an administrative or office management role within an educational setting
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines

Hours of work: 32 hours per week

Salary: Band D £32,597-£37,280 Actual Salary: £26,169-£27,641 (TTO 39 weeks) per annum
