The predicted salary is between 31650 - 43607 € per year.
Responsibilities include promoting and encouraging an effective ethos that supports the vision, aims and policies of the nursery school. Develop good working partnerships with staff, parents, other agencies, professionals and the local community, communicating, consulting and reporting as appropriate. Model effective practice to staff, students and visitors. Provide an excellent EYFS provision that meets the needs of all children across our mainstream provision. Ensure high quality opportunities and experiences through close working with the Headteacher and other agencies. Contribute to the School Improvement Plan, SEF and policy writing as required by the Headteacher. Provide the Headteacher with relevant and up-to-date information on children’s achievement. Model effective teaching that engages the interests of all children and meets their learning needs in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Support the staff team in planning and preparing effective learning experiences that reflect children’s interests, learning styles, developmental needs and special educational needs. Lead a team of highly experienced Early Years Practitioners, utilising their knowledge and experiences across the Early Years curriculum. Support the Headteacher in monitoring and evaluating teaching and learning – collating and analysing data for children to ensure a responsive curriculum and to inform SEF and the School Improvement Plan. Support the Headteacher in the team development of observational record keeping and documentation of children’s learning. Keep abreast of relevant current research and disseminate within the team. Maintain an active commitment to CPD, lead by example, share expertise with colleagues and a wider audience. Provide the Headteacher a concise picture of each child’s learning and development, including current effective strategies and data for TAC meetings. Assist the Headteacher with induction processes and professional development of staff, students and visitors. Be aware of safeguarding needs within children, ensuring vigilance and effective safeguarding practice in line with policy and procedure. Support the nursery team in developing and maintaining a high quality, rich, stimulating learning environment indoors and outdoors. Ensure resources are appropriate, meet the needs of all children and advise the Headteacher of priorities for expenditure.
Qualifications: Experience working in an Early Years setting. Valid DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK. Strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection. Work visa sponsorship not available.
