Responsibilities- Support children with Educational Health Care Plans (ECHPs) during timetabled curriculum teaching time.
- Assist the class teacher and SENCO in planning and delivering activities and strategies that support each child’s learning and development.
- Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating the school’s values and helping pupils build firm foundations.
- Attend meetings, training and additional sessions as required, with notice given for extra hours.
- Qualifications in Mathematics and English Language (GCSE, GCE or equivalent).
- Proof of right to work in the UK.
- Experience working with children with additional needs, particularly those with ECHPs.
- Reliable, dedicated, and able to provide a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and medical clearance under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
- The role is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check.
