Within Warwickshire County Council, the Employability and Skills Team commissions services and provides a number of support services, primarily supporting businesses, gathering economic needs, whilst also supporting in the creation of career opportunities linking to employment, education and skills partners. The team engage widely with a number of external partners and stakeholders who we collaborate with to widen our reach.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of the Adult Skills Fund across Warwickshire, helping to shape and improve skills provision that supports residents into learning, employment and career progression. You will manage significant programmes and funding, oversee performance and compliance, develop strong partnerships with providers and stakeholders, and ensure services deliver measurable impact. Working closely with the Adult Skills Team Manager and wider Warwickshire Skills Hub, you will play a key role in commissioning, contract management, programme development, and strategic planning, while leading relationships with delivery partners and supporting continuous improvement across Adult Skills provision. We are looking for an experienced programme manager with strong leadership, partnership, financial management and commissioning skills, alongside a passion for improving skills and employment opportunities for Warwickshire residents.
