Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council is currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated personal assistant for a fixed term basis of 6 months, working 3 days per week. The postholder will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support to the Chief Executive and senior management.
We are looking for a committed individual with the aptitude to cope in a fast‑paced environment, providing an essential support service to the wider management team. The successful candidate must be capable of demonstrating initiative and discretion, to work independently to manage a varied workload.
Excellent people management and organisational skills are essential, including the ability to build strong multi-disciplinary working relationships with colleagues and elected members. The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, diary, meeting and time management, document and meeting preparation and management, and initiative to provide comprehensive and proactive administrative support.
