Stockingford Maintained Nursery School offers a 10 hours per week part-time role (TTO hours Monday to Friday) for the position of Nursery Lunchtime Supervisor/Teaching Assistant level 1.

About the Role

Stockingford Nursery School is a Local Authority Maintained Nursery School. The Warwickshire Library, as well as the Children and Family Centre services run by Barnardo’s, are situated on the same site. Stockingford Nursery School provides care for 2–3-year-olds in Little Nursery and for 3–4-year-olds in Big Nursery. Our ethos is distinctive – we value each child’s unique interests, learning styles, and culture. We are looking for a Nursery Lunchtime Supervisor/Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality support during lunchtimes.

Responsibilities include assisting children with their lunches, supporting health and safety, hygiene, and first aid processes. The lunchtime routine is part of our daily schedule, so supporting teaching and learning experiences is key. There may also be opportunities to work additional hours outside of the main lunch period.

Key Requirements

  • Experience working with children aged 2–4 years.
  • Understanding of and compliance with Nursery School policies and procedures relating to Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Data Protection, Code of Conduct, and confidentiality.
  • Preparedness to undertake training in Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Paediatric First Aid, and Food Hygiene certification.
