The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council,

This part time role provides a great opportunity for someone who wishes to work in a museum environment.

The Museum Access Assistant’s role helps visitors to access collections and enjoy their visits.

They work with the museum collections researching and selecting objects to create handling sessions which they deliver one Saturday per month.

They also produce museum blogs about the collections and their work.

In addition, they devise and deliver children’s activities for Saturdays and some Bank Holidays.

They also support preventative conservation updating museum records and helping to care for environmental monitoring equipment.

The role incudes being a Fire Marshall supporting the safe operation of the museum and the security of the building and its contents.

On occasions covering front of house duties.

Hours are usually Saturdays, some Bank Holidays occasional Sundays and attendance during weekdays for training and meetings.

Closing Date Monday 24th August.
