Sunday only Customer Service Assistant at Nuneaton Library
Role Overview
The first point of contact for all library users, providing assistance and support.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary customer service point of contact at the Nuneaton Library.
- Use own initiative to ensure tasks are completed and customer needs are met.
- Assist users with ICT tasks, including office packages, internet, social media, government websites, application forms and email.
- Provide administrative support and assistance with library enquiry handling.
- Support events and activities; share enthusiasm and knowledge of books and reading with users of all ages.
- Deliver promotional activities, including children's activities such as singing and storytelling.
- Work every Sunday, 10:15 am – 2:15 pm, and be flexible to work across local libraries if necessary.
- Ensure all interactions are conducted in clear, accurate spoken English (Fluency Duty).
Key Requirements
- 4 GCSE passes, grade C or above, including English and Maths.

- Experience in customer service with members of the public.
