We are currently recruiting for a Landlord First Officer to join our Landlord Solutions Team. As a Landlord First Officer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with private sector landlords and letting agents. You will support the delivery of housing solutions by increasing access to private rented accommodation and helping to ensure successful, sustainable tenancies for our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a proactive and forward-thinking team. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, adaptable, and motivated to deliver an excellent landlord engagement service that improves access to private rented housing for those in need.
Key Qualifications
- A Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Recent and relevant experience of working directly with members of the public, with a strong understanding of customer care.
- Experience working within a public service or housing-related environment.
- Knowledge of homelessness legislation and private rented sector legislation, particularly the Private Rented Sector Pathways.
- The ability to work independently, using initiative while following set guidelines.
- Awareness of key issues within the social and private rented housing sector.
- Confidence in making informed decisions and taking responsibility, with the ability to challenge existing practices and generate new ideas and solutions.
