Join us as a Teaching Assistant (Level 2) at Burton Borough School, part of the Learning Community Trust.
Working Hours: 27.50 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week (PD Days)
Salary: Scale 2 (£12.85 – £13.05 per hour, dependent on experience and length of service); Annual Salary £15,778 – £16,023.
Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with special needs to access the curriculum and assist in developing and implementing Educational Health Care Plans.
- Work under the instruction of the SENDCo, Assistant SENDCo, and HLTA professionals to undertake care, support programmes and enable access to learning for all pupils.
- Provide personal care as required, ensuring appropriate safeguarding and welfare standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with children with specific needs (desirable but not essential).
- DBS enhanced clearance (required).
Location: Burton Borough School, Newport (Shropshire/Staffordshire border), accessible to Shrewsbury, Stafford, Telford and Wolverhampton.
