This is an exciting opportunity to work for City Housing, in the role of a Neighbourhood Support Officer. We are seeking an enthusiastic person with good interpersonal skills and abilities that can meet our person specification to the job role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of housing including allocations, move‑ons, repairs, delivery of individual support and wellbeing to maintain tenancy for sheltered housing tenants.
  • Conduct face‑to‑face visits, in citizens' homes, to improve the health and wellbeing of tenants, focusing on older people and those with disabilities, helping them to achieve resilient and happy lives in a sheltered environment.
  • Address conditions of tenancy, anti‑social behaviour, debt advice, benefit advice, liaising with multiple agencies both internal and external for the benefit of the tenant and the City.
  • Ensure compliance with building management and Health.
