We are looking to recruit a Full-Time plant operator for Lower House Farm Transfer Station in Dordon. The role includes weighbridge operations and deputy cover for the Transfer Station Supervisor.
The Role
- Full-time, 37 hours per week Monday – Friday.
- Able to work overtime as required.
Responsibilities
- Operation of JCB457 to keep the transfer station clean.
- Loading vehicles.
- Ensuring the site runs safely, efficiently and environmentally compliant.
- Cover weighbridge, deputise for the Supervisor and may cover HWRC.
- Ensure duty of care, legislative compliance, site operational.
- Operate and maintain plant machinery.
Key Requirements
- Experience working with members of the public and interest in waste minimisation and recycling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weathers, capable of physical, manual work and operating machinery.
