We are looking for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated and committed team player to join our Repairs and Maintenance Team in Asset Services. The role involves managing WDC’s housing repairs and maintenance for tenanted properties and acts as the front line within our Contact Centre. The incumbent will handle incoming calls, arrange inspection appointments and issue appropriate work orders to contractors, maintain a high level of organisation with administrative and service support tasks, engage with customers and contractors, and support the administration of works through to satisfactory completion.

Key duties include:

  • Assessing and resolving enquiries and service requests from tenants via telephone and electronic channels.
  • Making decisions within established procedures and quality standards to maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring first‑class customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a customer service environment within a telephone contact centre.
  • Ability to deal directly with the public and demonstrate a commitment to high‑quality customer service.
  • Experience in social housing and/or domestic repair and maintenance sectors is highly advantageous.

Working Arrangements:

Intention is for the post holder to work predominantly from home; however, attendance at WDC offices or sites within Warwick District may be required. Travel costs from home to the office will be reimbursed. Hybrid working options are also available.
