Position: Lunchtime Supervisor – May 2026

Permanent, Part Time 5 hours a week, 1 hour per day Monday to Friday. Term Time Only for 38 weeks per year.

Salary: Grade 3 (SCP 5) £25,583 per annum pro rata. Actual Salary: £2,910 per annum.

About the School: Rugeley John Taylor School, part of John Taylor MAT, is proud to be growing the only ‘all-through’ school within our Trust family. Having opened our doors to our first cohort of Year 7 students in September 2025, we are continuing to build a school that will serve local communities from the earliest years right through to Sixth Form, offering a ‘gold standard’ learning experience. As we expand, we continue to embed the core features of John Taylor MAT that have become a hallmark of its success and are looking for talented and committed staff to join us on the next stage of our journey and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision to ensure lunchtimes are safe, efficient and happy for students, so they are ready for their afternoon learning.

Qualifications:

  • Have experience of working in a team.
  • Are committed to working with and caring for young people.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Motivation and a proactive approach using initiative.
  • Willingness to support the staff team as the school grows.
