Overview

Scale 1 Lunchtime Supervisor (Fixed Term until July 2026 in the first instance)

Required To Start ASAP

6.25 hours per week

Term Time only (11:45 am – 1:00 pm)

Scale 1 Point 2 £12.65

Responsibilities

  • Be committed to and responsible for safeguarding all children
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Form good relationships with children
  • Demonstrate good communication and listening skills
  • Support children in schools (desirable)
  • Provide pastoral support for children
  • Maintain good relationships within the school and the wider community
  • Show sensitivity in interpersonal relationships and discretion in professional dealings

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience of supporting children in schools (desirable)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and listen

Online checks will be carried out on shortlisted candidates and all successful candidates are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This role will be engaging in regulated activity with children. This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as stated in the person specification.
