Overview
Lunchtime Nursery Assistant — Eastfield Nursery School. The role involves helping children at lunchtime: assisting with lunch, cleaning and tidying the dining area, and most importantly playing with children to make lunchtime a fun and happy experience.
This role isn’t just about supervision; it’s about inspiring play, promoting healthy eating, encouraging social skills, and making every lunchtime a positive part of the school day. You should be happy to sing nursery rhymes, read a story, and show genuine interest when engaged with play activities or garden exploration.
You must have warmth, patience and kindness to make every child feel special and cared for. You will join an experienced, friendly and caring team who will support you and provide training.
