Salary & Allowances:

MP1 – MP6: £32,916 to £45,352 + SEN1 £2,787 + TLR2 £3,527

UPR1 – UPR3: £47,472 to £51,048 + SEN1 £2,787 + TLR2 £3,527

Hours & Contract

32.5hrs per week, Permanent contract, Start date: As soon as possible (Oct HT 2026).

School Context

Queenscroft High School is a 200-place secondary special school for students aged 11-19 with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). Students have a range of SEN including autism, ADHD and global development delay. Pupils primarily live in Lichfield, Rugeley, Tamworth, Cannock, Stafford and surrounding areas such as Walsall and Birmingham.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the whole school team to support teaching and learning of pupils.
  • Positively model skills and behaviours, upholding the vision and values of the school.
  • Work under direction, instruction and supervision of responsible teacher either in classroom or wider school community.
  • Work with groups or individual pupils to assist in providing care, safety and welfare of pupils.
