Salary: Term time only, 32.5 hours per week – £11,110 per annum
Start date: Monday 5th January 2026

Due to the relocation of a valued staff member, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant Apprentice to work with Key Stage 2 pupils who have been identified as having additional needs requiring targeted support. Your role will involve helping these pupils access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Support children with additional needs, providing tailored interventions and personalised support.
• Work closely with classroom teachers to ensure pupils access the curriculum.
• Show initiative and be resourceful in a busy environment.
• Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills with both children and colleagues.
• Be prepared to train as a First Aider.
• Contribute to the academy’s success and uphold high standards.
• Collaborate positively with parents and the community.
• Promote the outstanding values of the academy.
