Greywood Primary Academy is a brand‑new school within Primitas Learning Partnership. Our values of belonging, believing, and placing children at the heart of everything we do shape our ethos and vision. We are looking for dedicated, friendly and nurturing practitioners to join our Early Years team as we open our first Nursery and Reception classes in September.

Salary: £8.00 per hour for the first 12 months, then the age‑appropriate apprentice rate for the remainder of the apprenticeship. Actual salary for the first 12 months: £11,593 p.a.

Contract: Fixed Term / term time plus (38 weeks during the school term, plus 3 inset days).

Hours of work: 32.5 hours a week, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsible to: Headteacher.

Start Date: 1st September 2026.

Duration: Fixed term for up to 18 months to allow successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities:

  • Support learning and development in Nursery and Reception classes.
  • Maintain a calm, caring, firm and supportive classroom environment.
  • Work well within a team and use initiative to assist pupils’ progress.
  • Carry out a variety of duties related to early years teaching and classroom support.
  • Show eagerness to learn and develop new skills throughout the apprenticeship.
