The predicted salary is between 11 - 16 £ per hour.
The role is diverse, exciting and no two days are the same. You will help our customers access a wide range of resources and services. A typical day could see you provide digital one-to-one support, lead events and activities such as a song or storytelling session for children or an online activity group for adults. Expect to learn something new every day in a fast-paced customer focused environment.
You will need to be enthusiastic, energetic and flexible, with excellent customer service skills. A will to find an answer to whatever question is asked is key. You may have a background in retail, community, education, early years or library work – but whatever your experience, your understanding of the customer will be crucial.

Working hours are based on a 2 week rota and include Saturdays. Worcestershire Libraries are structured in clusters with a larger library and 3 others in each cluster, except for The Hive. There is an expectation that you would work where needed at any library in the cluster.
- Malvern cluster (Malvern, Upton, Warndon, St John’s)
- Bromsgrove cluster (Bromsgrove, Hagley, Rubery, Catshill and Droitwich)
Closing date 13th February 2026. Interviews will take place week beginning 23rd February 2026. A 2 hour group interactive session for all shortlisted candidates and individual interview on Teams for those who are successful at group session.
