Role and Responsibilities
- We are looking for Class C Hook Lift drivers to join Warwickshire County Council's recycling services.
- Applicants should be able to drive a hook lift vehicle or be interested in learning.
- The role involves transporting roll-on roll-off skips to maintain capacity at recycling centres and transfer stations.
- If you do not have hook lift experience, full training will be provided.
- Drivers work independently to ensure the service runs efficiently, and materials are taken for appropriate recycling and disposal.
- The service runs 7 days a week; drivers must be available to work one weekend each month (Saturday and Sunday).
- Overtime may be available beyond 37 hours and Sundays, and bank holidays are paid at double time.
