Holly Hill Methodist/Church of England (Aided) Infant & Nursery School

Start date: September 2026

Contract: 34 hours per week term time only – 1 permanent and a number of fixed term 12 months

Salary Range: £28,598 - £34,434 (pro rata)

We are looking for several highly qualified teaching assistants to join our team. Core responsibilities and qualifications include:

  • Experience working in an EYFS/KS1 setting
  • Demonstrates and models high quality teaching and learning support
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Led interventions across school
  • Experience with SEND pupils
  • Knowledgeable of the EY and KS1 curriculums
  • Highly aspirational for the outcomes of our children
  • Commitment to our 12 Christian Values

For SEND Teaching Assistants:

  • Will work as part of a team in our specialist SEN class or supporting SEN children across the school
  • Experience working with SEND pupils with an EHCP
  • Experience or knowledge of the AET framework and SCERTS
  • Confident in using communication methods such as Makaton, PECS and ALD
