The successful candidate will have experience teaching Science across at least two key stages, with a strong desire to raise attainment and aspirations for all learners. Experience in KS2 and/or KS3 is particularly relevant, while candidates with a secondary background are also welcome. The successful candidate may also be required to teach other subjects within the wider curriculum.

- Start Date: Required for September 2026 (applications to join later in the academic year subject to notice periods).
- Contract Type: Permanent.
- Hours: Full time.
- Pay: Main Scale £33,673 to Upper Scale £52,222 per annum (applications from Early Career Teachers are welcomed).
- Allowance: Potential for Head of Subject TLR subject to appropriate experience.
- Location: Churnet View Middle School, with possible coverage across the Trust.
- Line Manager: Head of Department / Assistant Headteacher.
