The Westminster School (SIPS) is seeking a highly skilled, motivated and experienced Learning Support Practitioner to join our team. Our school caters for 302 pupils aged 7-19 years with a wide range of special educational needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Development Delay and Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities. The School offers a comprehensive CPD programme and has been awarded the Investors in People Platinum Award. State‑of‑the‑art facilities are on our £42million Rowley Learning Campus.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children’s Barring List Check. All staff and volunteers must undertake all relevant safeguarding checks. Applicants barred from working with children will be prevented from applying. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role. Working Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Term time only + 5 INSET Days). Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri: 8:40am to 3:15pm (including 30 min lunch break). Tues: 8:40am to 5:00pm (including 30 min lunch break) (Plus 20 min contingency time).
Grade: Grade D, SCP 9‑17 (£27,254 – £31,022) – Actual Salary, £21,361 – £24,943 per annum + SEN Allowance.
Location: The Westminster School, Hawes Lane, Rowley Regis, West Midlands, B65 9AL.
