Role

The Lead SEND Teacher will lead and manage the provision for pupils with moderate to complex learning needs across Key Stages One and Two within a dedicated SEN unit.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering and coordinating high quality teaching, planning, assessment, and pastoral care.
• Leading and managing the SEN unit’s educational provision.
• Working closely with and reporting to the Assistant Head of Inclusion.
• Communicating with local authorities and various external agencies to support pupils’ learning and pastoral needs.

Salary and Contract

Pay on the Teachers’ Main pay scale/UPS plus a TLR 2A per annum and a SEN allowance per annum.

Full-time permanent contract.
