Job Purpose
We are seeking to appoint a motivated, dynamic and committed person to join a high performing team at the forefront of Technical Education. The successful candidate will support the development of student industry placements across our growing number of T level qualifications. Identifying local, regional and national employers to facilitate high quality placement opportunities is a key element of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the other existing Industry Placement Officers to ensure partner employers are aware of, and compliant with, relevant legislation and best practice guidance to support students having positive placement experiences.
- Provide individual and group support to ensure our young people represent the college well and develop the requisite skills before and during their industry placement.
Working Conditions
The Trust is committed to offering flexible employment practices enabling staff to strike a sensible balance between home and work life. This role is a whole year position however, we are open to discussing the possibility of a range of flexible working patterns, e.g. term-time only or flexible start and finish times. Please feel free to discuss this at the selection stage and we can explore what is possible for the role whilst ensuring we meet the business needs of the Trust.
