John Taylor MAT is seeking to appoint two hardworking, committed and enthusiastic Inclusion Support Assistants (Physical and Sensory Needs) to join our evolving organisation. This is a fixed-term position linked to funding, and the contract will end when the student leaves the school.

Part-time working: 32.5 hours per week, term time only for 39.2 weeks per year.

Salary: Grade 5: £26,403 - £27,254 per annum pro rata. Actual salary: £20,139.34 - £20,788.46 per annum.

Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidates will support the SENDCo, teaching staff and students with a focus on students with physical and sensory needs.
  • Under the direction of the SENDCo, the successful candidates will support students with day-to-day tasks in order for them to access the curriculum. This position will include personal care.
  • We expect excellent communication between the successful candidate, staff and students.
