We are recruiting for an Inclusion and Safeguarding Officer at Hagley Catholic High School, part of Emmaus Catholic Multi Academy Company.

Salary range: Grade 6 SCP £28,598‑£31,022 per annum (FTE‑AYR) to be pro‑rated. Actual salary £24,906.91‑£27,509.47 per annum, 5 days, 37 hours per week for 39 weeks (TTO + training days). Job review pending.

Responsibilities
  • Work under the direction of the Assistant Principal, Raising Standards including Safeguarding.
  • Support day‑to‑day inclusion and safeguarding systems and processes across the school, ensuring consistency, efficiency and rigour.
  • Provide high‑quality mentoring to pupils and take ownership of intervention success.
  • Support the Assistant Principal and Safeguarding Leader in ensuring all pupils are safe and well looked after.

The successful candidate is passionate about providing excellent service and provision in a school environment. They possess a positive mindset and are dedicated to bringing out the best in students while contributing to the ethos of Emmaus MAC. Their professionalism, supportiveness, caring nature and ambition align with the school’s values. Applicants may be Catholic or non‑Catholic but are expected to support the Catholic ethos and values of the school.

Legal and Safeguarding Requirements:

This role requires an Enhanced Disclosure check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. All applicants must provide proof of their right to work in the UK. As part of the shortlisting process, candidates must undergo an online suitability check for working with children.
