Colwich Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive and dedicated team.

About The Role

  • Support teaching and learning across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Deliver learning activities to small groups and whole classes
  • Lead targeted interventions and contribute to planning and preparation of learning activities
  • Monitor, assess and feedback on pupil progress, supporting positive outcomes
  • Help maintain a calm, purposeful and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff as part of a supportive team

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Have experience working across the primary age range
  • Be confident in leading small group work and whole-class activities
  • Demonstrate high expectations of pupil learning, behaviour and wellbeing
  • Be able to evidence the impact of their support on pupils’ progress
  • Show initiative, flexibility and a willingness to support colleagues when needed
  • Be a reflective practitioner who values teamwork and open communication
  • Actively contribute to and promote the Christian values and ethos of the school
