What will you be doing?
- Provide essential administrative support to the Passenger Transport team to ensure smooth delivery of services across the county.
- Coordinate home-to-school and adult social care transport and maintain accurate records and database updates.
- Act as a key point of contact for enquiries, liaising with transport operators, schools, service users and internal teams.
- Respond to requests, including making amendments to transport provision while ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
- Support monitoring of transport contracts and performance to meet required standards.
- Contribute to data entry, reporting and preparation of documents supporting operational and strategic work.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes as part of continuous improvement efforts.
About You
- Organised and reliable with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator capable of building positive working relationships with colleagues, transport operators, schools and service users.
- Effective at handling enquiries in writing and over the phone, maintaining a professional and customer‑focused approach.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines.
- Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office applications and database systems.
