We are seeking a proactive and relationship‑focused School Effectiveness Officer to join our School Effectiveness Team within Herefordshire Council. This is a varied and outward‑facing role, supporting schools, academies and education partners through high‑quality advice, service coordination and the delivery of traded services. As a key point of contact for schools, you will help ensure they can access a coherent, responsive “one‑stop” offer that supports school improvement, strong governance and effective business management.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with schools, governors and partners
- Provide expert advice, guidance and support across a range of education services
- Coordinate and promote traded services, training and CPD opportunities
- Support service development, marketing and income generation
- Analyse data and performance to inform service improvement
- Ensure compliance with financial, statutory and quality assurance requirements
