Responsibilities
- Take on a varied range of adult social work tasks, including Care Act Assessments, person-centred support planning, Mental Capacity Assessments, and Section 42 Enquiries.
- Apply experience with diverse adult populations (physical and learning disabilities, mental health needs, and older adults).
- Use a strength-based approach to empower individuals and promote independence.
- Engage in crucial CHC and s117 work to ensure seamless support.
- Work in a supportive culture with regular supervision and opportunities for professional growth.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Social Worker with Social Work England and a qualifying degree.
- Strong knowledge of current legislation and its real-world impact.
- Interest in pursuing qualifications such as Practice Education, Best Interest Assessor, and/or Approved Mental Health Professional.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with external agencies to build strong partnerships.
- Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel across the county.
