The Sixth Form has a current cohort of approximately 170 students, predominantly A levels and Level 3 courses, with academic outcomes averaging grade B‑ over the last two years. Responsibilities

  • Lead the teaching and pastoral care provision for Key Stage 5, ensuring the highest quality of education and student wellbeing.
  • Develop and oversee the curriculum, including Higher Education, Apprenticeship and Oxbridge programmes.
  • Manage the Sixth Form team (Assistant Head, Administrator, tutors/mentors) and the dedicated learning block.
  • Drive the personal development and extracurricular life of students and support their post‑16 progression.
  • Represent the school’s Catholic ethos and values to students, parents and external partners.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Significant teaching experience at KS5 or equivalent level.
  • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience with university placements, Oxbridge and university partnership programmes is desirable.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and welfare of young people.
