Responsibilities
- Lead the teaching and pastoral care provision for Key Stage 5, ensuring the highest quality of education and student wellbeing.
- Develop and oversee the curriculum, including Higher Education, Apprenticeship and Oxbridge programmes.
- Manage the Sixth Form team (Assistant Head, Administrator, tutors/mentors) and the dedicated learning block.
- Drive the personal development and extracurricular life of students and support their post‑16 progression.
- Represent the school’s Catholic ethos and values to students, parents and external partners.
Qualifications & Experience
- Significant teaching experience at KS5 or equivalent level.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Experience with university placements, Oxbridge and university partnership programmes is desirable.
- A commitment to safeguarding and welfare of young people.
