The role will be to provide sort term absence cover at times of absence and assist in the preparation and service of tasty and nutritious meals to pupils and staff under the direction of the Catering Manager. Duties will include basic food preparation, cleaning duties and preparing counters whilst ensuring levels of hygiene are maintained within the kitchen.

About the role:
The role will be to provide sort term absence cover at times of absence and assist in the preparation and service of tasty and nutritious meals to pupils and staff under the direction of the Catering Manager. Duties will include basic food preparation, cleaning duties and preparing counters whilst ensuring levels of hygiene are maintained within the kitchen.
Level 2 Food Safety qualification would be an advantage, or be willing to complete the qualification via an e-learning course provided.
While experience in a school environment or catering may be advantageous, it is by no means essential as training can be given. We are more interested in finding the right person for the role, than the experience they bring to it.
